Review of Boston’s high-speed whale-watching cruise to Stellwagen Bank, with practical advice on wildlife, weather, crowds, seasickness, and value.

“INCREDIBLE experience!!! Highly recommend if you’re traveling to Boston - I went solo but would be so fun with friends/family too. After reading reviews about people getting seasick, I came prepared with motion sickness wristbands, an ear patch, and Dramamine just to be overly cautious. 3.Whale Watching Cruise

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 171 reviews · 4 hours · from $74Best value

Cruise from Plymouth to Stellwagen Bank for a four-hour whale watch with naturalist guides, open-water views, galley service, and frequent sightings.

“Just amazing. Our guide explained everything we were seeing, including the geography. The Mayflower II was out in the harbor that day, very memorable. We saw 2 female pairs of Humpback whales, including the famous "Salt" who has been observed and tracked for almost 50 years. "Music" repeatedly slapped, clapped, and waved her huge dorsal fins. "Tripod" gave us a number of tail waves. Very comfortable ride in a lovely Catamaran. Everyone should do this!”
