Review of the Boston to Martha’s Vineyard day trip, including the ferry, Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Aquinnah, timing, value, and practical tips.

“This is not a good trip to take. The bus ride from Boston to the ferry was fantastic. Once on Island, you board an old, beat up white school bus with uncomfortable seats, small windows, with no ability to see where you’re at. It was extremely difficult to understand our Jamaican tour guide and you are rushed around the island. I do not recommend this tour.”

Review of the Martha’s Vineyard day trip from Boston, with ferry travel, hotel pickup, optional island tour, costs, timing, and practical tips.

“The ride to the ferry was great. The driver was interesting and informative. The tour on Martha’s Vineyard was mediocre. The driver seemed uninterested. The scheduler called his phone several times and when he didn’t answer she called some of the passengers. When one finally answered the driver took the phone and he and the scheduler argued out loud with all the passengers listening. And he was on the phone while driving. All in all it was not a very good experience.”
